Job Description
Our client is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience for major features — from research and interaction design through to polished, shipped UI. Design craft is central to how this business competes, so you'll have both the mandate and the influence to raise the bar. You'll partner closely with product and engineering, and you'll help evolve the design system that keeps the product consistent and elegant as it grows.
- Own design for major features from research through to shipped, high-quality UI
- Conduct user research and translate insight into clear design decisions
- Produce flows, wireframes, prototypes and polished visual design
- Contribute to and evolve the design system and component library
- Partner tightly with product managers and engineers throughout delivery
- Champion usability, accessibility, craft and consistency across the product
- Facilitate design critiques and gather/incorporate feedback effectively
- Help define and improve the team's design process and standards
- Validate designs with users and iterate based on evidence
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for a senior designer with a strong portfolio and the range to move confidently from research to pixel-perfect execution.
- 5+ years of product design experience for software products
- A strong portfolio spanning research, interaction and visual design
- Fluency in Figma and modern design-system practices
- Strong craft, attention to detail and a high quality bar
- Comfortable driving design in a fast-moving startup environment
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to balance user needs, product goals and technical constraints
- Experience contributing to or owning a design system is a plus
