Job Description
Our client is hiring a DevOps / SRE Engineer to own reliability, infrastructure and developer experience for a platform trusted by enterprises. You'll build robust CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, improve observability and incident response, and embed security and compliance controls throughout. This is a high-ownership role at a scaled security business where reliability really matters.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Own reliability, availability and performance of critical systems
- Improve observability, alerting and incident response
- Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure and delivery
- Automate operational work and reduce toil across the platform
- Manage cloud infrastructure and optimise for cost and security
- Participate in and improve the on-call rotation and post-incident process
- Partner with engineering teams to improve their developer experience
- Contribute to capacity planning and resilience engineering
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for an experienced platform / SRE engineer who takes real ownership of reliability and security.
- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Deep experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Experience with security and compliance controls
- Comfortable owning on-call and leading incident response
- Strong scripting/automation skills
- Good understanding of observability tooling and practice
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
