Job Description
Our client is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale the core platform serving customers across the GCC at a DIFC-regulated fintech. You'll own backend or full-stack services end-to-end, help scale a secure and compliant product, and work with modern cloud and microservices. The salary is tax-free, and the package includes strong relocation and family benefits for international candidates.
- Design, build and operate backend / full-stack services end-to-end
- Help scale a secure, compliant fintech product across the GCC
- Work with cloud infrastructure and a microservices architecture
- Own reliability, performance and quality for the features you ship
- Contribute to architecture decisions as the platform grows
- Model data carefully and ensure correctness in financial flows
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code
- Collaborate across product, design and engineering
- Investigate and resolve production issues and prevent recurrence
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for a strong engineer who has built production systems and is excited to build in one of the world's fastest-growing fintech markets.
- 5+ years building production backend / full-stack systems
- Strong proficiency in a modern language (Java, Go, Python or TypeScript)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and microservices
- Solid understanding of APIs, databases and system design
- A track record of shipping well-tested, maintainable code
- Good collaboration and communication skills
- Fintech or regulated-industry experience is a strong plus
- Open to relocating to / based in the UAE
